I could definitely see Kaiba adopting if he hadn’t already raised a kid, haha. I think Mokuba is his his baby. Other than that I basically agree with you. But Mokuba is too responsible for that!! I think /he/ will probably adopt, though.
You know, I feel dumb for not realizing that error until Amarantines pointed it out. The main reason I considered him adopting a child was, on some level, I kind of imagine raising a child well would be one more “fuck you” to Gozuburo. However, lol, he definitely did that with Mokuba. I’m sure if Mokuba rounded up some kids, Kaiba would play some role in their lives one way or another.

Kaiba adopts 1 kid and then realizes that children, to him at least, are irresistible and equivalent to puppies. So he starts collecting them, until he has 3-5 children. Mokuba is really involved in their lives, so he doesn’t have any kids.

I picture Jounouchi as a single father with 1 daughter, and Yugi single with 1 son. Honda and Anzu are in nuclear families with 1 son, 1 daughter, Ryou is married with 1 daughter. Mai doesn’t have children. Kaiba adopts. Shizuka is single with 3 kids
Yeah, I can definitely picture Jou as a single father, I guess that would be an interesting way to establish some form of Polarshipping (whether it’s just a close friendship, one-sided or an actual relationship) in the future. Honda and Anzu are probably going to have armies, LOL!
The only way I can really see Ryou getting married and having a child is if he has some sort of self-imposed obligation to fulfill. Or he just gets sick of chillin’ with old ladies and cats, yup.
